Get to know me
Called to the Degree of the Utter Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, and now walking the early path of practice as a Pupil Barrister in the Republic of Mauritius, I stand at the confluence of two legal worlds; the principled heritage of English common law and the codified clarity of the civil law tradition.
I hold with pride a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Financial and Commercial Law, both conferred by the University of Central Lancashire. foundations which were neither stumbled upon nor inherited, but earned through exacting study and an unyielding pursuit of jurisprudential truth.
My passage through the University of Law in Birmingham, and my call to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, mark not merely credentials, but a solemn pledge to the enduring craft of advocacy. I am an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and a PDSL accredited Mediator, for I believe that the finest victories are often those won not in the theatre of litigation, but in the chambers of just compromise where reason tempers rivalry, and peace is brokered with honour.
In every brief I take, in every argument I frame, I bring not only my knowledge, but my oath to serve the law not as a sword of vanity, but as a shield for the just. This profession, to me, is no mere occupation; it is a calling, a discipline, and a lifelong defence of fairness amid the din of disputation.
My practice is shaped by discipline, fortified by integrity, and animated by an unwavering belief: that justice, though oft delayed, must never be denied and that the role of counsel is not to posture, but to persuade, with reason as our guide and the law as our lamp.
